DIY COTTON CANDY COSTUME (for adults)
Last year, Kristen was cotton candy for halloween and she's shared her step by step instructions for creating your own DIY Cotton Candy costume below!
. . . . .
SUPPLIES:
Quilt Batting
Pink Glitter Spraypanit
Pink Hair Spray
Safety Pins and Thread
White Leggings and White Top (the “stick” part)
A Great Attitude
INSTRUCTIONS:
Spray the quilt batting with pink fabric paint (I got it from Michael’s). Let it dry and then have a friend assist you in “rolling” the quilt batting around you like a burrito. Once you are satisfied with the look have the friend safety pin and sew you in with thread. begin pulling the batting as if you are eating cotton candy, expanding the batting material to create the fluffy look. Put on some sparkly shoes and you are ready to go as cotton candy. If you are blonde or have light hair you can even go so far as to dye or chalk your hair the color of your cotton candy!
