Find The Fetti: Los Angeles

We have a new feature we will be doing here on The Thread as well as our Instagram account and it's called Find The Fetti!

Our mission for Find The Fetti is to feature our awesome Thimblepress® customers who will take us on a tour of the fabulous cities that they live in.

We love following travel blogs, seeing the sites through the eyes of others’ colorful photos, and learning about the best possible places to visit when traveling and we want a chance to feature, you, our fabulous customers!

Each month, a Thimblepress® customer will take over our Insta-story LIVE on a Saturday, showing us all the fun, hidden gems in and around their city.

At their last stop, they get to leave a box of our Push-Pop Confetti® for one lucky Thimblepress® fan to find!

So fun, right?!

After the takeover, we'll share all the places featured here on The Thread.

Our first Find the Fetti location was Los Angeles, California! Our featured Insta-story take over guest was Audrey Scheck.

We're obsessed with all of the places she featured in L.A. and can't wait for our next visit!

First Stop - Midland Shop

One of Audrey's favorite Los Angeles spots is the Midland Shop in Culver City. The store was started by Paige Appel & Kelly Harris who own the much-loved event design business Bash, Please.

Midland Shop features natural wood fixtures with a hint of Southwest-cool offering everything from LA's most talented designers to a mix of stateside and global goods. Whether you're looking for home decor, apothecary, clothing, or baby gifts, Midland Shop has you covered. Her personal favorite is their unique succulents which come potted in the most beautiful blush pink pots from Mexico.

Second Stop - Ice Cream Museum

The Ice Cream Museum in Los Angeles is a unique museum where all of those crazy ideas you dreamed up as a kid are transformed into a real life experience.

The creators of the Ice Cream Museum mission is to design environments that bring people together and provoke the imagination. They certainly nail that mission right on the head!

Audrey loves taking her one-year-old son Huxley to the museum.

Thimblepress Founder Kristen got to visit the Ice Cream Museum a few months ago and she was in love!

Third Stop - The Grove

The Grove is a popular fashion and lifestyle destination offering the best mix of retail, restaurants, and entertainment in Los Angeles. Pulsing with style and energy, it’s a gathering place where friends and families spend whole days shopping, dining, seeing movies and relaxing, soaking up the sunshine and the excitement around them.

What Audrey loves most is the live music (and her son loves the trolley car!).

Fourth Stop - Los Angeles County Museum of Art

The Los Angeles Museum of Art is centrally located between the beach and downtown LA and features artwork covering the expanse of art history—from ancient to contemporary—and the globe.

There is free admission for children 17 and under, so it's a great place to take the entire family!

Outside of this final stop was where Audrey left a box full of our Push-Pop Confetti®, where lucky Instagram follower Gwyneth found the box!
